Micro Manager

In an attempt to build my bankroll, I deposited $600 on Poker Stars and started grinding $4.40 180-man mtts. Through two days I'm winning about $225. Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy to be winning, but at this time I'm running at 120% ROI (return on investment) and cashing in 23%. These numbers, however, despite the unreal softness of these tournaments, I don't think will be sustainable. And even if I can sustain such a high win rate, my hourly is only working out to be $12.50 (lol) which is way too low for the amount of volume I have to put in. On the flip side, I am running a little below EV and have gotten coolered at some point at every final table I've been at. Maybe once I start winning a few of these, my hourly will look a little better. I'm thinking about just grinding .10/.25 nl. These games are noticably more soft on Poker Stars than they are on Full Tilt. I should be able to win at a great rate, improve my hourly and hopefully not have to put in near as much volume. Even though I'm a true nit at heart, playing these micro stakes is extremely monotonous and boring. I'd rather be playing higher, but...oh well. Sometimes you just have to crush the micros.

Right now my car is busto so we have no way of leaving our apartment at this time. It's either the battery or the starter (hopefully the battery). Maybe we'll run good and find something exciting to do tonight.

Happy 4th of July and Happy America!
